BACK IN BUSINESS UPDATE

Hi Squad!!!

I hope everyone is well and  relaxed after all the recent netflix binges. It's been a strange few months but thank god we live in Australia with a government that has supported us in staying alive financially and maintain all our staff (and limit the spread of the virus!) So we can get back to business shortly. With current trends social events are looking good again and we will have a plan in place and available online for the start of June for commencement on Tuesday, June 23rd. The staff and I very much look forward to getting out and about and seeing all our favorite faces and places. I personally have a few corona kilograms to work off during our Squad Sports days.

VIRUS PRECAUTIONS
We will limit 5 participants per van (one staggered seating per row for each participant) and practice all advised social distancing and hygiene protocols (and then some more extra precautions!). Anyone with even a slight cold will be asked to stay home both carers and participants included. Daily van wipe downs morning and afternoon and lots of hand washing.

BOOKING SYSTEM/ COMMUNICATION

Please please please use the website for all bookings (for events or CAS Care). The booking form is very simple to use but if you have any troubles please email me the problem (all previous problems have been user based). The website saves me hundreds of hours in admin time every month and makes communications streamlined plus the benefits of record keeping/ future planning/ risk assessments. The website will also save you a lot of time in limiting back and forth emails. I will not be booking any participants in if there is no booking form completed. If you have forgotten how to use the booking system please see the attachment for events and see the pictures below for CAS Care bookings. The least effective way to get in touch with me is via facebook/ instagram/ text messages/ phone calls. Emails are great for everything else relating to the squad unless its an emergency then please call me.

February Highlights...

A new an exciting time for CAS with new squad members, events and leaders joining this month. 2020 is proving to be our biggest year yet. We have some big plans with investments in a new van soon and some wraps on the vans so you can easily spot us out and about. Our new website is running smoothly thanks to Zyme studio for putting it all together over the past 4 months.

CAS Care has launched which allows personal 1:1 events to be easily organised. We have had squad members out every single day of February which is great to see.

We are back at our micro business under Squad Spices with some new products being developed that will widen our scope of inclusive skill building. Currently we have 2 products which we are always refining and making more efficient and developing a new product that is an environmentally friendly alternative to confetti. We also continue to clean up the local community every Friday morning to give back to our beautiful community.

We welcome Adam and Denielle to the Squad Leader team who bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the team. Great to have you both on-board.

March is looking great with some new events on the calendar and don’t forget to book into the Newport Night if 18+. Always a really fantastic night.
